1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use aviationcreators.com (the “website”) or apply to join Aviation Creators. By doing either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or apply.
The website is run by Aviation Creators Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17420262, with its registered office at 5 Brayford Square, London, England, E1 0SG (“Aviation Creators”, “we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at info@aviationcreators.com.
If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian before you apply.
2. Using our website
- You may use the website for your own information, to contact us, and to apply to join.
- You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful, harmful or fraudulent, or that interferes with its operation or security. This includes trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing viruses or other harmful code, or collecting data from the website by automated means.
- We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
- Content on the website is general information. It is not professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
3. Applying to join Aviation Creators
- Applying is free.
- The information you give us must be accurate, complete and your own. Please tell us if anything changes.
- We review every application. Whether an application is accepted is at our discretion, and we do not have to give reasons.
- We may contact you, or check publicly available information, to confirm details in your application, such as your role or your online presence.
- Applying, or being accepted, does not guarantee any opportunity, paid work or particular result.
- You can withdraw your application at any time by emailing info@aviationcreators.com.
4. Working with us
If your application is accepted:
- You remain independent. Nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, partnership or a joint venture between you and us.
- Joining is not exclusive. You are free to work with others, unless a specific agreement you sign with us says otherwise.
- Each opportunity will be set out in its own written agreement covering scope, fees, content usage rights and deadlines. If that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies to that opportunity.
- You are responsible for following your employer’s policies, the rules of any regulator or authority you work under, and the security requirements of any site you visit. Do not share information that is confidential, security-sensitive or that you are not permitted to share.
- You are responsible for labelling paid or sponsored content clearly, in line with the advertising rules where you publish. In the UK, this means the CAP Code and guidance from the Advertising Standards Authority and the Competition and Markets Authority.
- You are responsible for your own tax and other legal obligations on any income you receive.
5. Your content and information
- You keep ownership of everything you create, including your content, channels and profile.
- By applying, you allow us to view and use the information and links you submit to assess your application. If you are accepted, you also allow us to use them to consider you for opportunities and, with your agreement, to present your public profile to organisations that may want to work with you.
- You confirm that the material you submit is yours or that you have permission to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- Rights in content you create for a specific opportunity are covered by that opportunity’s agreement.
6. Our content
- The website, including its text, design, logos, video and images, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may view and share pages from the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, adapt or use our content, name or logo for any other purpose without our written permission.
- Logos of other organisations shown on the website belong to their owners.
7. Communications
- We will email you about your application and, if you are accepted, about opportunities and your work with us.
- By applying, you agree that we may contact you about creator opportunities that suit you. You can ask us to stop at any time by contacting us. We will not send you marketing emails, such as newsletters, unless you separately agree to receive them.
8. Links to other websites
The website may link to other websites, including social media and video services. We are not responsible for their content or for how they use your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
9. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for any loss of business, income or opportunity, arising from your use of the website or your application.
- Opportunities are offered by the organisations we work with. Except as set out in an agreement you sign with us, we are not responsible for what those organisations do or decide.
- If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
10. Your personal data
How we collect and use your personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies when you use the website or submit an application. If we make a significant change that affects you, we will tell you by email where we can.
12. General
- If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- If we do not enforce any of these terms straight away, we can still enforce them later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to another organisation, for example if our business is sold, and will tell you if we do.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
